  • We were a group of 11 adults (related) and stayed a week a Villa Chui. The property is absolutely stunning and very comfortable. We never felt crowded with the six bedrooms and 5.5 baths. There was plenty of space and privacy, and we were able to enjoy each other’s company at the large dining table with delicious meals prepared by the wonderful caretakers Palma and Umberto.
Nicola and his family went out their way to make us feel welcome, and he was in touch throughout the week to help us find tour guides, suggest things to do, or anything else we might need. One evening we returned to find a delicious lasagna prepared by his Mother; on another an out-of-this world tiramisu.
You will need a car at this property – it is located at the top of a hill near Tivoli – spectacular views! We took the train into Rome a few days, and on others drove to Florence and Assisi. Don’t miss nearby attractions Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa (which you can see from Villa Chui!).
Our only regret is that we were not there for a two-week stay. I dream of returning here, and recommend this property highly. Thank you Nicola and family for sharing your beautiful home!

  • We traveled with our family of nine to Villa Chui and had a fantastic time. Our host Nikola and his family went out of their way to ensure that we had a vacation that we would remember and talk about for the rest of our lives. The Villa Chui is beautiful and sits on the mountainside with a breathtaking view of Tivoli. Each and every room is inviting, warm and comfortable. The pool area is well equipped with lounge chairs and pool toys. We enjoyed floating in the pool and sunbathing. Nikola also provided the names of superb guides and drivers for traveling in Rome and surrounding areas. He also suggested restaurants that we would rate with 5 stars for food, service and ambiance. No rating would be complete without mentioning Palma and Umberto who cared for us every day and made sure that we had an amazing stay at the villa. Our family shed many tears when it was time to leave Villa Chui.

  • We recently stayed at Villa Chui for one week. The pictures do not do justice to this home. It is spacious, clean, comfortable with impressive views of Tivoli, St. Peter’s Basilica on a clear day, and even Villa adriana, ruins of Emperor Hadrian!
Tivoli is charming with its old town and interesting historic sites. The proximity to Rome is wonderful. The driver, Michele, recommended by Nicola, provided our airport transports, as well as drives into Rome and the surrounding areas. He was more than a driver. We consider him our new friend. He had a wealth of information to share about the area and attractions and taught us about Italian culture and even some Italian!
Palma and Umberto became our new friends as well. Palma’s meals are authentic Italian cuisine and a welcome after a day of sightseeing. Umberto helped us with directions and obtaining our car.
Nicola is responsive to your needs. We had two in our party who had food allergies. He ensured our meals were safe and his mother even provided some homemade desserts for our son to enjoy. He immediately made you feel at home, as though you were members of his extended family.
We would highly recommend this villa especially for anyone traveling with extended family. It is a home that allows you to enjoy all Rome has to offer, yet you can escape from the city to your own private paradise!

  • Villa Chui soared above our highest expectations as a gathering place for our families and wedding ceremony. Highly situated amongst the stars and tucked away above Villa Este, Hadrian’s Villa, and overlooking Rome, Italy, Villa Chui resides deep within our hearts. The architecture, landscape, interior feel, and warm staff make it The Premier Villa in Tivoli.
Everyone was charismatic and interwoven into Italian culture so that my wife and I felt only comfort, fortitude, and elation while we were there; even amongst the stressful interlay of a wedding on foreign soil. I cannot begin to express my words of thanks for the hospitality and grace of Nicola (who spoke fluent English), his family, and the staff. I can only hope and pray for their continued success and wish them the same feeling of euphoria we had at Villa Chui every day and night into the future. They were wonderfully accommodating and we will return at our first opportunity.
Thanks for the magnificent stay and Auguri!
